1)    During a marathon the following information was recorded:  After 12 minutes a contestant traveled 3 miles.  After 8 minutes the contestant has traveled 5 miles.  Assuming the contestant is traveling at a constant rate of change, define a linear function that models the situation.

 

 

 

 

 

2)    Define a linear function with a constant rate of 3.5 and whose graph passes through the point (-4, 2)

 

 

 

 

3)    Define a linear function whose graph passes through the points (-1, 3) and (3.2, 4.7).

 

 

 

 

4)    Convert the linear function y = -2x + 7 into ax + by = c form

 

 

 

 

5)    Convert the linear function 6x + 2y = -10 to y = mx + b form.

 

 

 

 

6)    Convert the linear function y = 3.5x – 4 into ax + by + c

 

 

 

 

7)    Convert the linear function -3x – 4y = 20 to y = mx + b form
